Brian Okoth is a seasoned project and programme management professional with over 8 years’ experience. Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Kenyatta University, Kenya, he is knowledgeable in environment and climate change issues.

Over the last 10 years, he has been a youth leader championing causes such as climate justice and environmental conservation. He has served in various volunteer leadership roles such as Member of the Advisory Board, African Youth Initiative for Climate Change – Kenya chapter 2017-2019, Chairperson of Elections Committee African Youth Initiative on Climate Change Continental 2019 – 2021.

He has been a member of AAPI from 2015 and has previously served as Programmes Officer and Programmes Manager. He brings on board years of experience in programme management including design, implementation and evaluation; research and policy analysis; report writing; fundraising; networking and partnerships building and systems thinking.

His interests include human development; Africa renaissance; arts and creatives; and the environment
